Sandra Taylor (ST) talks about her time as a WRVS volunteer 1973-1998 and WRVS Association member 1998-2013. ST mentions her time as a Meals-on-Wheels (MOW) Kitchen Maid in Uckfield Surrey and then becoming a MOW deliverer when she moved to Lanchester in Durham. Comments on being involved with Emergency Services (ES) and running a Luncheon Club. ST also comments on her time as Derwentside District Organiser (DO) including running Books-on-Wheels (BOW) and working with the County Organiser (CO), Durham County MOW Administrator, Durham DO, being on the WRVS Council working with Gerry Burton and Dame Mary Corsar, becoming a WRVS Association Member and starting a Welcomer service at Durham University Hospital, Durham (non-WRVS). She concludes with her opinions of the current organisation, its future and her most memorable moment as a volunteer.
