Mary Gibbons (MG) talks about her time as a WVS, WRVS and Royal Voluntary Service (RVS) volunteer from 1962-2014. She comments on the different Services she was involved in including Welfare, Emergency Services (ES), Meals-on-Wheels (MOW), Children's Services including the Duke of Edinburgh Award (D of E) and Hospitals. MG also had a number of roles in WRVS: Deputy County Organiser, Swansea, Wales, County Secretary, Swansea, Wales, Chairman/Director of Wales, Chairman of Benevolent Trust, National and WRVS Trustees Ltd, Green Sleeves Homes trust, National. MG concludes with her thoughts on RVS today and its future and shares her most memorable moment visiting 10 Downing Street.
