Jill Walden-Jones (JWJ) talks about her time as a WRVS volunteer from 1975 to 2006. She discusses starting with the Social Transport Scheme and then becoming a county organiser, Dyfedd, Wales, as well as children's holidays. JWJ mentions being chairman for Wales and National Vice Chairman which included attending the 50th Anniversary Service. She talks about the WRVS Trust and setting up Greensleeves after retiring from the board she went back to the social transport scheme as a driver. In her final comments JWJ gives her opinions on the organisation and how it has changed over the years. |
